SUSTAINABLE HYBRID CONCRETE FLOOR
Built for industries, farms, retail, mining, golf courses, car parks, walkways, ramps, and more.
Stronger, Cheaper, Faster, Greener
Sustainable Hybrid Concrete Floor
Civil chemicals introduces a hybrid technology that combines the rigidity of concrete with the flexibility of engineered polymer grids. The result is a pavement that resists cracking, handles heavy traffic, and installs in a fraction of the time. Built with recycled materials, CC-Grid is as sustainable as it is strong.
CC-Grid floor is the evolution of concrete surfaces — unitized, flexible, and visually uniform. Designed for modern spaces, high-load floors, and long-life pavements. A blend of engineering intelligence and environmental.
Benefits
- Unique grid-pattern decorative flooring
- Strong, durable, and visually appealing
- Ideal for commercials

Why Engineers choose CC-Grid Floor
- Install over old surfaces or base layer
- No need for form work, rebar Fast setting and low maintenance
- Ideal for high-traffic and industrial zones
- A smarter, safer, faster pavement upgrade
How it Works
- The concrete within the grid is cured completely
- A grinding or polishing machine is used to remove the top thin layer of concrete
- As the surface is ground, the CC grid lines become exposed
- This results in a uniform, patterned surface that acts as both a structural and aesthetic feature

SIMPLE INSTALLATION STEPS
CC-Grid Floor
LAY THE GRID
- Place the grid sheets on the ground
- Press firmly on the clips so each sheet locks properly
INSTALL EDGE SUPPORTS
- Fit CC grid edging on all exposed edges to keep concrete inside the cells
- In areas where vehicles may drive off the edge, install steel wire as extra protection
FILL WITH CONCRETE
- Recommended mix
- > M30, 100–120 slump, 12mm aggregate
- Use a rake to level concrete close to the top of the grid
- Use a surface vibrating screed for a smooth, even pass
FIRST FINISH
- After screeding, run a power trowel at slow speed with flat blades
- Use a rubber squeegee to remove excess slurry and expose the top of the grid
FINAL FINISH
- Once bleed water disappears, do another slow pass with the trowel
- When your thumb leaves only a slight mark, it is ready for the final finish
- Blades should scrape lightly — if stones flick, they’re too high
- Use finishing aid not water, during finishing
CURING
Concrete must be cured properly
Option 1:
- Pond Curing Build a sand bund around edges and flood the surface Keep submerged for 3 days (best method)
Option 2:
- Curing Compound When walkable, spray a water-based curing compound over the surface
DECORATIVE FINISH
Exposed Grid Pattern
After the concrete has fully cured, the surface can be mechanically ground or polished to reveal the CC-grid pattern beneath the topping layer. This creates a decorative, geometric finish where the grid lines become visible, giving a modern and unique architectural look.
